Cascade AIDS Project is excited to announce that we are hiring skilled and team-oriented Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant maintains the general ledger, prepares, and posts journal entries, prepares account reconciliations, records check and bank deposits, maintains the fixed asset ledger, and assists the Finance team in the preparation of audits and financial statements. This is a Full-Time role working at our Davis St. location in the Old Town area of Portland, OR. The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with an option of a hybrid The starting pay for this position is $67,000- $72,000 a year depending on experience. Who You Are Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting or a related field and two years of work experience, OR Five years of experience working as a full-cycle accountant. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and FASB accounting standards. Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements. Strong accounting system experience, including posting journal entries and reconciling GL accounts. Intermediate Excel skills (use of Pivot tables, XLOOKUP, etc.) What You'll Do Maintains the General Ledger, prepares, and posts journal entries Prepares account reconciliations. Records check and bank deposits. Maintains the fixed asset ledger. Assists the Finance team in the preparation of audits and financial statements.
