Come be a part of our team, stay on top of accounting technology and get more done while doing less!Your RoleThe Accountant's responsibilities include A/P, A/R, payroll and month‑end closing processes, as well as other accounting related functions as requested by client. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize and manage multiple client needs while maintaining a high level of accounting services and professionalism. Must be comfortable with communicating with clients, both on the phone and webcam, while placing a high emphasis on client service.ResponsibilitiesDaily accounts payable, accounts receivable/invoicing and banking for multiple clients, as requiredEnsure the accurate and timely processing of daily transactionsPosting of journal entries to balance sheet and income statement based upon predetermined methods and routinesUpdate balance sheet accounts, including weekly and monthly reconciliationsConduct daily posting and/or downloads for bank accounts/credit cards, as requiredProcess client payroll with a 3rd‑party vendorUse and monitor 3rd‑party fintech applicationsReview and process sales and use tax, as requiredReconcile quarterly payroll filings with the general ledgerReview and manage month‑end close processOccasional special projects as requestedLead client calls to provide high emphasis on customer serviceSupport budget and forecasting activitiesOther duties as assignedBasic QualificationsFour‑year degree in accounting or finance3+ years performing full‑charge bookkeeping2+ years using QuickBooksPreferred QualificationsAbility to interact with various levels of management, staff and clientsStrong problem‑solving skillsWorking knowledge of prepaids, accruals and inventoryDemonstrated ability to handle multiple clients simultaneouslyExceptional attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communications skillsStrong work ethicMust be decisive and work well under pressureConfident in one's abilities and able to work independently, with minimal directionSeniority LevelEntry levelEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionAccounting / Auditing#J-18808-Ljbffr
