What You'll Do

As a Staff Accountant, you will play an important role in supporting financial operations across multiple manufacturing locations and divisions.

Key responsibilities include:

General Ledger & Accounting Operations

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records

Month-End and Year-End Close

• Assist with monthly and annual close processes
• Prepare supporting schedules and financial reporting packages
• Support financial statement preparation

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare financial reports and assist with variance analysis
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Research and interpret financial data to address accounting questions

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards (GAAP)
• Assist with internal and external audit requests

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Partner with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting
• Provide backup support for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and expense reporting
• Assist with system implementations and process improvements

What We're Looking For

Qualified candidates will bring a combination of technical accounting knowledge, analytical ability, and strong attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5 years of accounting experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting practices
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
