DescriptionThis position is primarily responsible for the timely payment of all expenditures and the accurate recording of revenues in the accounting system.Position ResponsibilitiesPrimary contact for all accounts payable: receive, scan, and forward invoices to the responsible person for purchase order creation; monitor requisition lists to ensure proper coding and timely conversion into receivers.Review receivers, convert them into AP invoices in Intacct, and select invoices for payment; print checks and present them to the Executive Director and, when necessary, a second signer.Establish and maintain vendor relationships by resolving unpaid balances, inquiring about pricing for new products and services, and maintaining contracts and related paperwork.Enter all cash receipts into the accounting system accurately and apply those receipts to the appropriate open accounts receivable.Enter bills into Intacct for the Finance, Administration, and Facilities departments, ensuring accurate coding and allocation as needed.Monitor and enter all payments made via EFT or ACH; maintain all bank transfer journal entries.Serve as primary point of contact for company purchasing card maintenance, including setting up new user online access, training new cardholders on expense reports, handling credit card request and release forms, adjusting credit limits with proper approvals, coding transactions, performing backup verification, and ensuring timely payment of all balances.Be sensitive to the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.Adhere to safety training and protocols daily, taking precautionary measures to ensure safety and well‑being.Protect confidentiality of information or material obtained during service with the organization, including client names and information, services rendered, donor names and gifts, investigation results, and financial information.Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Faith and Moral principles.Take a solution‑oriented approach in interactions, promote collaboration, and commit to the mission and vision of the organization.Ensure completion of all required professional development assignments in a timely manner.Other duties as assigned by the Director, Senior Director, and/or Vice Presidents.CompetenciesAdaptabilityCritical ThinkingCommunicationIntegrity/HonestyResults OrientedMinimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a business‑related field.Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar field with at least 2 years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounting.License and Credentials: Reliable transportation, valid driver's license with clean driving record, valid vehicle insurance; experience with Intacct preferred.Minimum Knowledge and SkillsMinimum of 2 years' experience in accounts payable, including expense coding and allocating, verifying backup documentation, check runs, and vendor communication.Extensive working knowledge of expense and revenue accounts and internal controls.Strong understanding of the general ledger.Detail oriented, organized, self‑motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team.Excellent written and verbal skills.Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.Travel RequirementsTravel requirements include 10% local travel and 0% overnight travel.#J-18808-Ljbffr
