Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• 
  
• Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• 
  
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• 
  
• Help prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting.
• 
  
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies.
• 
  
• Support audits and tax preparation by gathering necessary documentation.
• 
  

Background Expected of the Staff Accountant:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 
  
• 1-3 years of accounting experience (internship experience accepted, or corporate experience a plus)
• 
  
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software a plus.
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
