We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Staff Accountant to join our team in the Accounting + Finance industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to bring their expertise in job costing, construction accounting, property accounting, project accounting, year-end close, GL, cash flow, financial statements, invoicing, Yardi, loan draws, and construction draws. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience and will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting and financial tasks, contributing to the overall financial success of our company.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Staff Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing job costing, construction accounting, property accounting, and project accounting tasks.
2. Overseeing year-end close processes, ensuring all financial records are accurate and complete.
3. Maintaining and managing the general ledger (GL), and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
4. Analyzing and managing cash flow, providing regular reports to senior management.
5. Preparing and analyzing financial statements, providing insights and recommendations based on financial data.
6. Managing invoicing processes, ensuring all invoices are sent and paid in a timely manner.
7. Utilizing Yardi software for various accounting and financial tasks.
8. Managing loan draws and construction draws, ensuring all funds are accounted for and used appropriately.
9. Working with other team members and departments to ensure all financial operations are running smoothly.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Staff Accountant role will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Accounting + Finance industry.
2. Extensive experience with job costing, construction accounting, property accounting, project accounting, year-end close, GL, cash flow, financial statements, invoicing, Yardi, loan draws, and construction draws.
3. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide recommendations.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in an easy-to-understand way.
6. Proficiency in using Yardi software and other accounting software.
7. A strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies in financial data.
8. The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently.
