Administrative Assistant
Executive Personnel Services, Inc., is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our corporate team in Houston, TX.
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working with an energetic personality who is able to undertake a variety of support tasks. This personwill be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and will be able to communicate effectively with the executive team and clients.
General Responsibilities:
- Receive and distribute all incoming mail/packages
- Provide exemplary customer service to clients, candidates, and employees
- Answer incoming calls and screen for transfer to proper department/individual
- Monitor and maintain centralized e-mail for new job requisitions
- Act as gatekeeper for incoming calls and receive office visitors
- Provide support to the hiring team to screen candidates, update applicant tracking system, distribute and collect new hire documentation
- Provide assistance to the accounting department for payroll processing
- Monitor inventory of office supplies and submit orders when needed
Requirements:
- Must have completed 2 years of college courses (Required)
- Previous experience in the Staffing/HR Industry (Preferred)
- At minimum 2 years of experience in a Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or Client Services role
- Ability to receive, review, understand and distribute job requisitions
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively independently with limited supervision
- Ability to sit, stand/walk periodically throughout the day; and lift 20-30 pounds
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer/guest service skills
- Ability to solve problems in an effective manner
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all guests and associates
