We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Strategic Programs Administrator to execute and scale the Carrier Services portfolio of carrier-facing programs - including Deals & Discounts (D&D), Supplier Development & Impact (SDI), and Gear Up. This individual will manage vendor relationships, administer carrier certification systems, execute marketing and promotional initiatives, and ensure carriers have seamless access to the benefits, resources, and growth opportunities available to them.

This role is the execution engine of the Strategic Programs portfolio. The administrator will own the day-to-day operations that directly impact carrier cost savings, disadvantaged supplier spend goals, and network growth - translating program strategy into tangible carrier outcomes across four pillars: Cost, Liquidity, Network Growth, and Carrier Experience.

Key job responsibilities

Deals & Discounts Program Execution

  • Support the execution of promotional strategies by coordinating check-ins with vendor partners, tracking promotion timelines, and ensuring end-to-end implementation across relevant systems and channels
  • Conduct outreach to prospective vendor leads to support pipeline development and expansion of the D&D portfolio
  • Execute vendor agreement workflows through contract execution platforms (Contract Central) and internal approval tools, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping
  • Coordinate vendor data sharing processes, including the preparation and distribution of carrier accounts to and from vendor partners, in accordance with data governance standards
  • Collect and consolidate vendor performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis into standardized reporting formats for leadership review
  • Administer account management processes that enable carriers to access liquidity and financial support programs, including troubleshooting account issues and facilitating timely resolutions

Program Administration

  • Administer KYC (Know Your Carrier) system for disadvantaged-owned business certification tracking
  • Manage certification issue dates, expiration dates, and renewal workflows
  • Support reporting automation for carrier certification metrics to identify trends and enable targeted campaigns
  • Coordinate data deep dives, prime prep, and certification verification processes
  • Support global expansion coordination (EU RSP, UK guardrails, cross-regional alignment)
  • Facilitate carrier engagement initiatives (Project S.O.A.R., WBENC conference coordination, carrier information sessions)

Content Management & Marketing

  • Create, update, and maintain program landing pages and digital content using internal content management systems, ensuring all carrier-facing information is accurate, current, and accessible
  • Manage landing page translation requests for new and updated content to ensure program materials are available across all supported languages and markets
  • Execute marketing initiatives that drive awareness and adoption of D&D offerings, partnering with internal stakeholders to develop and deploy campaigns aligned with program strategy
  • Prepare and distribute the program newsletter on a regular cadence, curating content that highlights new vendor offers, program updates, and resources relevant to Relay carriers

Carrier & Vendor Engagement

  • Serve as a shared point of contact for carrier communications, responding to inbound inquiries and routing escalations appropriately
  • Support the planning and execution of the Relay Roadway vendor roadmap series, coordinating logistics and materials
  • Maintain vendor partner relationship cadence (weekly/monthly check-ins per partner SLA)
  • Coordinate carrier information sessions and engagement events

Reporting & Program Operations

  • Maintain and update program dashboards, ensuring KPIs are current and accurately reflect program health across all four pillars
  • Monitor program operations to identify process gaps and recommend improvements
  • Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously across internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Track program-level financial metrics including carrier spend, vendor performance, and cost savings attribution

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
