Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, or private equity role, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience providing actionable insights and solutions to problems and helping evaluate business needs and challenges.
  • Experience with analytical tools/techniques (SQL, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, spreadsheet software).
  • Understanding of market, product, organizational and cross-functional nuances with an awareness of when to seek additional support and guidance.
  • Ability to execute on project components and support business processes with some guidance.
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to analyze and interpret data and effectively communicate in a structured and compelling manner.

The Central gTech Strategy & Operations organization is responsible for devising and enabling gTech’s overall strategic and annual plans, analyzing metrics to drive business performance, and delivering high visibility strategic projects across gTech. This role will require you to drive solutions to complex, ambiguous and high-visibility business problems and opportunities for gTech. You will work cross-functionally with finance, vertical gTech teams, and sales operations on developing plans, and setting and monitoring gTech’s performance against our business goals. You will have the opportunity to shape how we deliver customer care and how we drive efficiencies across a global operations team. You will "crunch the numbers", and also partner with stakeholders to think through strategic issues, and communicate effectively to drive significant strategic initiatives.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $100000 - $142000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefitsLearn more about benefits at Google.

Responsibilities

  • Define problem statement and project scope to deliver against key business objectives with guidance. Execute components of a project plan and help deliver aspects of projects in a high quality and timely manner.
  • Support a robust, data driven annual business planning process and annual goals. Land the business plan in partnership with all the stakeholders. 
  • Conduct market research to facilitate business judgement, market understanding, and fact-based analysis to identify, prioritize, and solve complex business problems.
  • Monitor and track metrics to ensure progress against business objectives. Build the processes and reporting needed to monitor performance against targets.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data from multiple sources and effectively communicate in a structured and compelling manner. Help surface actionable insights to help drive the business.
