Job Description:

The McGuire Center for Lepidoptera & Biodiversity at the Florida Museum of Natural History is seeking a highly organized, dependable UF student to provide administrative support to the Center's director, Dr. Akito Kawahara.

Essential duties include:

• Coordinating calendars and meetings
• Organizing travel receipts and reimbursement documentation
• Maintaining digital files
• Tracking deadlines and follow-up tasks

Approximately 10-15 hours/week, with flexibility around classes.

Located at the McGuire Center, Gainesville.

Expected Salary:

$17-20/hour, depending on experience

Required Qualifications:

Current UF student

Experience with Outlook, Excel, and Word

Preferred

• Strong attention to detail
• Clear communication skills
• Discretion with confidential information
• Ability to work independently
• In-person work
