STEM/Robotics Coach

Responsibilities:
Arrive early to help set-up and greet participants
Provide supervision, guidance and encourage a supportive/collaborative environment for participants
Assist participants in envisioning, developing and constructing projects and completing group tasks to build their enthusiasm and interest for robotics
Be a role model and supportive instructor for participants
Assist in planning activities for participants and provide suggestions for program enhancements
Qualifications:
Knowledge about robotics and coding
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
Ability to connect effectively with differing personality types and work collaboratively as part of a team
Maintain childcare safety rules and maintain confidentiality regarding participant information
Hours of Position:
Student will be expected to work 2-3 days per week from 2:45-5PM. There will also be some class planning time that will occur either prior to or following program operating hours of 3-6pm.
