    The opportunity

    Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Center Administration Assistant for our partner organization, Manchester True Collaborative in Manchester, NH. : The Center Administration Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of Manchester True Collaborative and its LGBTQIA+ community center. The student will assist with administrative tasks, center projects, organization, program and event support, and other operational needs that help keep the center welcoming, organized, and responsive to the community.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Assist with routine administrative and organizational tasks at the community center.
    • Support center projects, programs, events, and volunteer activities as assigned.
    • Help organize supplies, resources, shared spaces, and program materials.
    • Assist with basic data entry, document preparation, filing, and maintaining internal information.
    • Help prepare materials and spaces for meetings, programs, and community events.
    • Provide welcoming and professional assistance to visitors, volunteers, and community members when appropriate.Identify routine center needs and communicate them to the supervising team.
    • Assist with other operational projects that support Manchester True Collaborative’s mission.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
    • Work study part of financial aid package
    • Students with work study may be prioritized
    • Reliable transportation
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Dependable, professional, and able to handle responsibilities with appropriate discretion.
    • Basic proficiency with common office technology and willingness to learn new systems.
    • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a volunteer-led team.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for diverse communities.

    Work Schedule

    Flexible; to be determined based on student availability and organizational needs

    Compensation

    The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
