- Conduct comprehensive social history evaluations as part of the initial and re-evaluation process to determine eligibility for special education services.
- Serve as the Case Manager for a roster of students with disabilities, overseeing the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on social skills, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution.
- Offer immediate support and assessment during student crises and coordinate with outside mental health agencies when necessary.
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop behavioral intervention plans and promote a positive school climate.
- Act as a resource for families, connecting them with community services, medical providers, and financial assistance programs.
- Serve as HIB anti bullying specialist & district homeless liaison.
