Description
Conduct comprehensive social history evaluations as part of the initial and re-evaluation process to determine eligibility for special education services.
Serve as the Case Manager for a roster of students with disabilities, overseeing the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on social skills, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution.
Offer immediate support and assessment during student crises and coordinate with outside mental health agencies when necessary.
Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop behavioral intervention plans and promote a positive school climate.
Act as a resource for families, connecting them with community services, medical providers, and financial assistance programs.
Serve as HIB anti bullying specialist & district homeless liaison.
