With a robust pipeline of high-profile healthcare work on the horizon, including several major hospital projects, they are seeking an accomplished construction leader to oversee these critical assignments, drive project success, and serve as a key partner to clients, stakeholders, and project teams from preconstruction through completion.Commercial Superintendent - Key Responsibilities:Provide on-site leadership and foster a strong culture of safety, accountability, quality, and operational excellence throughout all phases of commercial construction projects.Manage daily field operations, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain productivity and achieve project milestones.Lead subcontractor and site coordination meetings, proactively addressing challenges and driving project progress.Develop and maintain short-term and long-term construction schedules, ensuring all trades are properly sequenced and aligned with project objectives.Monitor quality control efforts and oversee inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements, building codes, and company standards.Identify and resolve field-related issues, working collaboratively with project management, design teams, owners, and trade partners to maintain project momentum.Manage site logistics, material deliveries, manpower planning, and jobsite organization to support efficient project execution.Maintain accurate daily reports, track project progress, and communicate schedule impacts, safety concerns, and field conditions to key stakeholders.Serve as the General Contractor's primary field representative, building strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.Commercial Superintendent - Successful Candidate Profile:5+ years of experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction, with a proven track record of successfully leading projects from ground-up construction through final turnover.Experience overseeing a variety of commercial projects, including office, retail, mixed-use, industrial, institutional, and other complex developments.Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, sequencing, site logistics, scheduling, safety compliance, and the coordination of multiple trades in the field.Ability to review, interpret, and execute work in accordance with construction drawings, specifications, schedules, RFIs, and other project documentation.Demonstrated success managing daily field operations, subcontractor performance, quality control, and project schedules to ensure on-time project delivery.Proven ability to lead and motivate field personnel while maintaining strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify challenges and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced construction environment.Strong commitment to jobsite safety and experience fostering a culture focused on incident prevention, accountability, and operational excellence.OSHA certification and relevant industry certifications are preferred; a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus but not required.The Commercial Superintendent will be offered:Base salary: $110,000-$140,000Bonus: $12,500-$20,000 annually (project/profit-based).Benefits: 100% medical, dental, vision coverage for you and dependents.Generous 401(k) + company profit sharing.Car allowance starting at $800/month.20 PTO days (potential unlimited PTO).Company phone & laptop provided.DE&I initiatives and company-wide events.Training and development programsJob summary:SectorConstructionSub SectorSite ManagerIndustryPropertyWhereColumbusContract TypePermanentConsultant nameKyler BakerJob ReferenceJN-072026-7066237
