Our client is a premier luxury residential General Contractor specializing in architect-driven interior renovations throughout Manhattan. Their portfolio includes full-gut penthouse renovations, landmark brownstone restorations, duplex combinations, and custom townhome transformations featuring world-class craftsmanship, bespoke millwork, and exceptional design finishes.

As a Superintendent - Construction - Manhattan, you will be responsible for:

• Managing all day-to-day field operations on luxury residential renovation projects
• Supervising subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
• Maintaining project schedules and driving milestone completion
• Coordinating architects, interior designers, consultants, and ownership teams
• Overseeing custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, plaster, metal, and specialty finish installations
• Managing complex custom interior build-outs and architectural details
• Coordinating work within occupied co-op and condominium buildings
• Conducting quality control inspections throughout all phases of construction
• Leading daily safety meetings and ensuring OSHA compliance
• Reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
• Coordinating material procurement, deliveries, and project logistics
• Identifying and resolving field issues proactively
• Maintaining daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
• Managing punch-list completion and successful project turnover

The successful candidate will have:

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience within construction
• Extensive experience managing high-end residential interior renovation projects
• Proven experience with penthouses, brownstones, duplexes, townhomes, luxury apartments, or townhouse renovations
• Strong understanding of custom millwork, cabinetry, architectural woodwork, stone, plaster, metal, and specialty finishes
• Experience overseeing highly customized residential interiors from demolition through completion
• Experience working directly with homeowners, architects, and interior designers
• Knowledge of co-op and condominium renovation procedures and requirements
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Strong subcontractor management and scheduling experience
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred
