The Site Superintendent is responsible for all field operations on a project to ensure that all self-performed and subcontracted trade work follows compliance with contract documents, the project schedule, and the budgetary constraints of the project. Superintendents also implement and enforce safety and quality control policies amongst all subcontractors, while leveraging construction operations expertise to provide technical and organizational planning and scheduling for all project operations
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversee all jobsite construction activities, ensure adherence to approved plans,specifications, and safety standards.
Function as theprimary on-site agent of the company to clients, subcontractors, and otherstakeholders by modeling GWG standards and values on daily.
Responsible fordaily opening and closing of the jobsites. Ensures that closing procedures arestrictly followed by securing the site and performing safety inspections.
Ensure sufficientoversight and coverage of all field work is provided during all activeconstruction work on site.
Develop projectsequencing plan and master project schedule during bid/estimating phase alongwith Pre-construction Team.
Along withProject Manager, develop complete CPM schedule based on pre-bid projectsequencing derived, through trade, project team and client feedback provided tomeet contractual requirements, making real-time adjustments to meet projectmilestones and deadlines.
Manage andmaintain construction site logistics plans, delivery access, egress plans, andsafety measures required to establish a completely safe and functional job site.
Coordinate withsubcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders for seamless workflow andefficient resource allocation.
Review monthlyprogress billing with Project Manager with respect to actual work-in-placewitnessed.
Coordinate andmanage all scheduled delivery dates for all critical path material andequipment.
Determinecritical path activities and materials required and communicate all required-on-jobdates with Project Manager.
Collaborate withthe project management team and other stakeholders to address challenges, fieldor schedule constraints and provide progressive updates.
Oversee workacross trades to promote and coordinate project operations. Document andresolve project issues related to procedures, design clarifications, labor,equipment, and schedule.
Maintain accurateand updated project documentation, including daily reports, drawings, safetyrecords, progress photos and change orders. Communicate all changes to ProjectManager immediately upon identification.
Overseeimplementation of project mock-ups and associated testing, review and approval.
Ensure requiredproject permits and insurance, keep current for term of project. Serve asliaison with inspection agencies.
Implement, trainand enforce GWG’s safety protocol and conduct inspections to exercise qualitycontrol on the job site.
Identifypotential project and schedule risks and proactively implement measures tomitigate them, ensuring the project’s success and completion.
Assure punch listis completed in a timely manner.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Indepth knowledge of the construction process includes scheduling (CPM), contractadministration, procurement of equipment and materials, and workforceallocation/requirements.
Thoroughknowledge and understanding of general and subcontract documents, drawings,specifications, construction means, methods, and materials, understanding ofline and grade and survey methods Excellent organizational skills and attentionto detail.

Proficientuse of Microsoft Office / 365 and project management software (i.e. Procore,Microsoft Project, etc.)
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’sDegree from accredited degree program in Engineering, Architecture,Construction Management, or related field, and minimum of 8 years ofconstruction experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, andexperience
Mustpossess minimum OSHA-30 certification
Superintendentcertifications and/or licenses a plus
Proficientknowledge of building codes and compliance
Physical Requirements:
Mustbe able to routinely traverse and inspect all areas of job site in all types ofweather; this may include walking, stretching, reaching, bending, crawling, orclimbing; work at heights using ladders and lifts.
Occasionalwork at site/main office for desk work and project meetings.
Ableto drive a motor vehicle.
Mustbe able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
Travelto jobsites required.
Mustbe able to work in hazardous or irritating environments, confined spaces (attimes), and adverse weather or temperature conditions, to wear and work inpersonnel protective equipment.
Mustbe on-call 24/7 to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issuesat the job site.
