Known for its collaborative culture, commitment to excellence, and focus on employee growth, the company offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that strengthen local communities while providing long-term career stability and advancement potential.Job DescriptionThe Superintendent will be responsible for:Leading and overseeing all on-site construction activities from project startup through final completion.Developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently, and according to plan.Coordinating daily field operations with subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders.Serving as the primary on-site point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.Enforcing safety protocols, building codes, and company quality standards across all phases of construction.Managing site logistics, manpower planning, material deliveries, and equipment utilization.Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions to maintain schedule and productivity goals.Leading subcontractor meetings and providing regular updates on site progress, milestones, and upcoming activities.Conducting quality control inspections to ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications.Partnering closely with project management teams to maintain effective communication and successful project execution.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantThe Successful Superintendent Applicant will have:Proven experience serving as a Superintendent on commercial, municipal, or public construction projects.Demonstrated success leading field operations on large-scale and complex construction projects from groundbreaking through completion.Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, site logistics, sequencing, scheduling, and quality control.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively manage subcontractors and field personnel.Proficiency with construction technology and field management software, including Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling platforms.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.OSHA 30 certification or a strong commitment to maintaining jobsite safety standards.Ability to manage multiple phases of construction, coordinate trade partners, and maintain productivity while meeting project milestones.Strong understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a commitment to delivering projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.What's on OfferThe Superintendent will be offered:$110,000-$140,000 salary range based on experiencePerformance-based bonus opportunitiesComprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and vehicle allowanceGenerous PTO and holiday leave plus professional development opportunitiesWork on impactful projects in a collaborative, supportive team environment
