Construction Superintendent
Columbus, Ohio - Traveling
Salary: $95,000 - 120,000 a year, Travel Expenses, Per Diem, 401k, Benefits, etc.

Position Summary:
This role is key in driving the successful delivery of our projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget & to the high standards our clients expect. The travelling project superintendent is responsible for supervising construction projects across various locations involving travel to multiple states.

The ideal candidate is local to Central Ohio and willing to travel for Out of State projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, travelling between job sites based on project needs.
• Oversee on-site activities, including supervising subcontractors, conducting safety and quality control checks, and providing direction to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and codes.
• Manage and oversee all subcontractor activities on job sites; coordinate schedules for subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries.
• Organize and conduct project meetings, manage daily operations, and promptly address issues as they arise.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and team members, communicating project objectives and progress clearly.
• Attend project and onsite meetings and participate in virtual meetings with owners and architects as required.
• Complete detailed daily logs on a daily basis for each project assigned.
• Manage, control, and inspect the quality of all workmanship performed onsite.
• Schedule and attend all structural, life safety, and final occupancy inspections.
• Ensure that jobsites are always kept clean and presentable.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in industrial & commercial construction project on-site supervision.
• Readiness and flexibility to travel regularly to manage projects in multiple locations.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction best practices, other safety regulations. OSHA 10/30 preferred.
• Professional, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
