    Employment Type: Full-time

    Shift: Evening

    Hours Per Week: 32 Hours/Week

    Hiring range: Starting at $46.27 hourly. (This rate includes the shift differentials)
     
    The posted pay range contains shift differentials.  Registered Nurses (RN's) are eligible for additional compensation based on the shifts worked.
    • Weekday evening shift - additional 10% plus $2.00 per hour
    • Weekday night shift - an additional 15% plus $3.00 per hour
    • Weekend day shift – an additional 10%
    • Weekend evening & night shifts – an additional 21%

    The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assigns, directs, educates and monitors nursing and support staff. May provide input for hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.

    • Assesses daily patient care needs and develops and distributes patient care assignments, ensuring that population appropriate patient care is given.

    • Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes. Assures resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.

    • Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through established channels.

    Education and Experience

    • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
    • 1 year of experience required.
    • Licensure: Current and valid RN license in New York State.
