Clinical Resource Manager : Suppply Chain & Value Analysis

TalentFish is casting a line for an experienced Clinical Resource Manager to support Supply Chain and Value Analysis initiatives within a leading healthcare organization in Miami, Florida. This is a 12 month contract engagement. This position is ideal for a clinically experienced Registered Nurse with a strong acute care background who is interested in the intersection of clinical operations, supply chain, medical products, and value analysis.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in areas such as the Operating Room, Perioperative Services, ICU, or other acute care environments and be comfortable evaluating clinical products and supplies from both a patient care and operational perspective.
This is not a direct patient care role. The Clinical Resource Manager will leverage clinical expertise to support product evaluations, supply chain operations, vendor relationships, cost-benefit analysis, and value analysis initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Support Clinical Resource Management, Supply Chain, and Value Analysis initiatives.
- Evaluate medical products, supplies, and technologies based on clinical needs, quality, utilization, and cost.
- Partner with clinical teams, Supply Chain, Finance, and other stakeholders to assess and implement products and services.
- Conduct and support clinical product evaluations and provide recommendations based on clinical and operational considerations.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis and assist with identifying opportunities for cost savings and standardization.
- Support value analysis processes and initiatives across clinical departments.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding product selection, utilization, and performance.
- Participate in vendor management and product review activities.
- Support contract review and purchasing-related initiatives as needed.
- Work with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and support procurement strategies.
- Apply clinical knowledge to medical supply and supply chain operations.
- Support Operating Room and Perioperative supply chain activities, which may include tissue tracking and/or implant procurement.
- Collaborate with leadership and multidisciplinary teams to align clinical product decisions with organizational goals.
- Utilize data and clinical expertise to support informed decisions related to products, supplies, and resource utilization.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Active Florida RN License or Multi-State Compact RN License required prior to start.
- Minimum 5 years of acute care Registered Nurse experience.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership and/or management experience.
- Strong acute care clinical background, preferably in:
- Operating Room (OR)
- Perioperative Services
- Critical Care / ICU
- Experience with medical supplies and/or healthcare supply chain operations.
- Experience with value analysis or clinical product evaluation.
- Understanding of cost-benefit analysis and product utilization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications- Operating Room / Perioperative experience.
- Critical Care experience.
- Pediatric healthcare experience.
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in Clinical Resource Management.
- Experience working with Value Analysis Committees or programs.
- Experience with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs).
- Experience with contract review.
- Experience with vendor management.
- Experience conducting clinical product evaluations.
- Experience supporting supply chain activities within the OR, including tissue tracking and/or implant procurement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a seasoned acute care RN and clinical leader who has transitioned or is looking to transition from direct patient care into a role focused on clinical operations, supply chain, and value analysis.
The strongest candidates will have experience in an OR, Perioperative, or Critical Care environment and understand how medical products and supplies impact clinical outcomes, workflow, quality, and cost. They should be comfortable collaborating with physicians, nurses, Supply Chain teams, vendors, and organizational leadership to evaluate products and identify opportunities for standardization and cost optimization.
Top Candidate Priority: A BSN-prepared RN with an active Florida or Compact RN license, 5+ years of acute care nursing experience, 3+ years of leadership/management experience, and demonstrated exposure to value analysis, clinical product evaluation, or healthcare supply chain operations. Pay rate $65-$77/hr
