Job Title: Supply Management Specialist II
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Location: Ottumwa, IA 52501 / Waterloo, IA 50704
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with Potential for Overtime)
Description:
Job Summary
· Manage the delivery of purchased parts from internal and external suppliers across assigned locations.
· Oversee day-to-day supplier performance and relationships to support factory operations.
· Drive continuous improvement in supplier quality, delivery, and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and resolve complex supply or delivery issues.
· Coordinate planning activities, purchased-parts deliveries, and inventory management for assigned sites.
· Collect and analyze supplier, market, cost, and contract performance data to support procurement decisions.
· Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in supplier quality, delivery, and operational processes.
· Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders while supporting contract reviews, negotiations, and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience
· Strong written and verbal communication, planning, organizing, and coordination skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, along with typing and computer operations.
· Ability to collect, analyze, and report data while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, inventory planning, costing, and budgeting.
Desired Skills
· Experience with SAP, supply chain management, or manufacturing; recent graduates with a 4-year Business or Supply Management degree are welcome.
Education
· Post-Secondary Non-Tertiary Education.
