Shift: 1st Shift – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week), with potential overtime

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Supply Management Planner to support supply chain operations by managing the delivery of purchased parts from internal and external suppliers across one or more locations.
This role involves coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, maintaining accurate information, tracking purchase orders, and supporting efficient material flow to meet operational and production requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational, analytical, and computer skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the delivery process of purchased parts from internal and external suppliers.
Monitor supplier deliveries and ensure materials arrive according to established schedules.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams regarding order status, delivery timelines, and material requirements.
Follow up on delayed, missing, or outstanding purchase orders and resolve routine delivery issues.
Maintain accurate records of supplier communications, purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material information.
Utilize Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for tracking, reporting, and daily supply management activities.
Collect, organize, and analyze supply chain and delivery-related data.
Support material planning, inventory management, and replenishment activities.
Identify potential supply chain issues and communicate risks or delays to relevant stakeholders.
Assist with supplier performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support cross-functional coordination with supply management, materials, logistics, and production teams.
Prepare reports, documentation, and updates related to material availability and supplier deliveries.
Follow established company procedures, policies, and supply management practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in typing and general computer operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and reports.
Ability to analyze information and identify potential delivery or supply issues.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn supply management, procurement, and material planning processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Four-year degree in Business, Supply Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience in supply management, procurement, materials management, inventory control, or logistics.
Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems.
Experience coordinating supplier deliveries and monitoring purchase orders.
Experience using Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
Recent graduates with relevant educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline preferred.
Candidates with relevant educational qualifications and a willingness to learn may also be considered.

Work Environment

Fully onsite position in Moline, IL.
1st shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
40 hours per week, with potential overtime.
Business casual dress code.
The position may require occasional travel between company locations using a personal vehicle.
Interviews will be conducted onsite.
