What You’ll Do
  • Provide advanced inpatient management of adult cardiac surgery patients, including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, and aortic surgeries
  • Support clinical rounds with the cardiac surgeon and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
  • Manage patient admissions, discharges, and daily assessments
  • Perform procedures such as chest tube removal, pacemaker management, and wound care
  • Monitor and treat arrhythmias, electrolyte disturbances, and infections
  • Recognize clinical deterioration and escalate care accordingly
  • Document comprehensive patient care using EPIC EMR and Sectra PACS system
  • Support high-acuity patient care in a stepdown environment


What You Need
  • Valid State License and Board Certification as an NP/PA
  • 2+ years’ experience in cardiac surgery or trauma Level I environment
  • Proficiency in managing complex cardiac patients and performing relevant procedures
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and critical thinking skills
