Position Overview:
- Hiring for Full-Time or Per-Diem positions.
- Schedule will be discussed during the interview.
- Hiring levels include Surgical Tech, Senior Surgical Tech, and Lead Surgical Tech.
What You Will Do:
- Prepare surgical cases under the guidance of a registered nurse.
- Allocate surgical supplies and instrumentation.
- Organize and maintain the sterile field during procedures.
- Pass sutures and instruments to the surgeon as needed.
- Assist with terminal cleaning of the surgical suite and instrumentation.
- Apply advanced skills to support optimal patient care and perioperative performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program.
- Completion of competencies for all General Service Lines and at least 50% of Advanced Service Lines.
- Environmental Orientation within 30 days of hire.
- Unit-specific competency within 90 days of hire.
- Certified Surgical Technologist through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire.
- Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association upon hire.
Experience by Level:
- Surgical Tech: At least 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
- Senior Surgical Tech: At least 3 years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
- Lead Surgical Tech: At least 5 years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
