HAMILTON TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT

Pre-K-8 School District of Excellence seeks exceptional candidates for openings for the 2026-2027 school year:

Substitute Bus Drivers

Candidates must have the following:

• High School Diploma
• Current CDL - P & S Endorsement
• Valid NJ Driver's License, for at least 3 years
• Excellent Interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn bus routes and be on time

Bus Driver responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide safe and efficient transportation to and from destinations
• Ensure safety and well-being of all students
• Obey all traffic laws
• Observe mandatory safety regulations for school buses
• Maintain discipline while students are on the bus

Terms of Employment: On-call, as needed

Salary: $24/hour

Substitute Bus Driver positions are on call, per hour at $24/hour. If chosen, you will be required to complete a background check and other applicant requirements to be explained upon offer of employment.
