Systems Engineer

Envision is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This is onsite position.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plans, designs, develops, evaluates, tests, and integrates an organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.
• Captures, understands, translates, and documents customer requirements.
• Defines system and product requirements; and generates mechanical, electrical, and software performance and reliability specifications and requirements.
• Creates and maintains programmatic and technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution.
• Manages and documents system configurations and oversees all transitions into production.
• Performs troubleshooting and remediation, ensures successful project implementation, and performs post project end user support.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering
• Strong ability to design, integrate, and test complex hardware and software systems
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting system configurations, and supporting system implementation.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Active Secret with the ability to obtain TS-SCI

The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000.00-$153,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
