Associated Recreation Council (ARC) is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our organization by attracting, hiring, and onboarding exceptional employees. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and creating a positive candidate experience from application through hire.

As a Recruiting Specialist, you'll partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process while helping ensure our hiring practices reflect ARC's commitment to equity, inclusion, and community.

About Associated Recreation Council

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities.

Schedule

  • Full-Time (30 hours per week)
  • Flexible schedule based on business needs
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for hiring events

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for positions across the organization.
  • Create and post job advertisements on multiple recruiting platforms.
  • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, and outreach.
  • Screen applications and conduct initial candidate interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Prepare offer letters and support onboarding activities.
  • Maintain accurate applicant records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Attend career fairs and community hiring events.
  • Develop recruiting strategies to attract diverse, qualified candidates.
  • Assist with additional Human Resources projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or related Human Resources experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office.
