We cover all travel expenses for qualifying roles, so all you need to bring is your talent and a great attitude.Job Summary:The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food to order during audit events, team lodging, and field office setups. This role involves following recipes, maintaining kitchen organization, ensuring food quality and presentation, and working collaboratively with kitchen staff to deliver meals on time and to company standards.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes, ensuring consistent quality and presentationOperate cooking equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and stovetops, ensuring they are maintained and used safelyAssist in food preparation activities such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients for meal serviceEnsure proper food storage and handling to meet health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environmentMaintain a clean and sanitary work station, including following all health and safety regulationsAssist in plating and presenting food according to the restaurant's or event's standardsWork efficiently in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with other kitchen staff to meet event or meal timing requirementsHelp with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and notifying the Lead Cook or Kitchen Manager of any shortagesFollow all food safety guidelines and ensure that all meals are served at the correct temperatureAssist with cleaning kitchen tools, utensils, and surfaces during and after meal serviceQualifications:Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a commercial kitchenStrong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment operationAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining qualityGood communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen staff and managementAbility to follow recipes and instructions with precision and attention to detailStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at onceAbility to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bendingFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, based on event schedulesWhy Join Us?We pay for your travelWork in unique locations across the U.S.Gain diverse experience and expand your networkBe part of a supportive, high-energy team that's as passionate as you areIf you're ready to elevate your career while exploring new places, we want to hear from you.I understand that Bridge Point may conduct background checks and/or obtain consumer and investigative reports in connection with my application or employment, as permitted by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable state laws.
