Role Summary
The Tax Associate will support state and local tax compliance processes, helping ensure accurate filings and timely reporting across jurisdictions. This role is ideal for an early career tax professional looking to build a strong foundation within a structured corporate tax environment.

You will assist with preparing tax returns, maintaining documentation, and supporting tax calculations while collaborating closely with finance and tax team members. This position offers exposure to corporate tax operations and opportunities to grow within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and assist with filing state and local tax returns
• Support tax workpapers and maintain organized documentation
• Process and track tax payments across multiple jurisdictions
• Assist with tax estimates and accrual calculations
• Research tax related issues and resolve discrepancies
• Respond to ad hoc tax requests and assist with special projects
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Maintain data integrity within tax systems and files

Key Requirements
• 1 to 3 years of tax or accounting experience, public accounting experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• Foundational knowledge of state and local tax compliance
• Experience supporting tax filings, workpapers, and accruals preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reconciliation
• Experience with CorpTax or similar tax software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
