As our Tax Operations Administrator, you'll be the backbone of our tax and operations departments - keeping filings on track, clients well-informed, and our busy seasons running smoothly. If you thrive in a structured, professional environment and enjoy owning a process from start to finish, this role is built for you.WHAT YOU'LL DOE-file federal and state tax returns and extensionsProcess, collate, and send finalized tax returns to clientsScan and manage tax documents and e-file authorization formsSet up and maintain client files throughout the yearAssist with tax organizers and preparation for the next filing seasonProvide administrative and tracking support during busy tax seasonsServe as backup support for general business functions (reception, scanning, filing)WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORAssociate's degree in business preferred; equivalent experience considered3-5 years in a professional office environment - public accounting experience is a strong plusFamiliarity with CCH Axcess Software and ELF Electronic Filing System preferredProficient with Microsoft Office and professional email communicationDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsCollaborative team player with clear verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to commit extra hours during peak tax season when the team needs itWHAT WE OFFERCompetitive salary: $55,000 - $75,000 based on experienceGenerous paid time off plus reduced summer hoursPerformance-based bonus plan401(k) with employer matchHealth insurance with company-paid premiums
