Senior Tax Preparer & Auditor
Location: McKinney, TX (100% Onsite)
Pay: Up to $120,000 + Bonus Potential

CornerStone Professional Placement has partnered with a public accounting firm seeking a Senior Tax Preparer & Auditor to manage a high-volume book of business, prepare and review tax returns, and work directly with clients and staff. This role is ideal for a tax professional with strong public accounting experience and expertise in individual and small business tax preparation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-Corp, trust, and business tax returns
- Review tax work completed by staff members
- Meet with clients and provide tax guidance and support
- Assist with audits, compliance, and tax research
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of filings
- Manage a large client portfolio
Requirements
- 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
- EA or CPA required (must be able to sign tax returns)
- Experience with individual and small business tax returns
- QuickBooks experience required
- Lacerte experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
