    Job Title: Tax Supervisor (Remote)

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Tax Compliance Oversight:

      • Supervise and lead the tax compliance process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tax returns for various entities, including corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts.
      • Review and analyze complex tax issues, providing guidance to the team.
    2. Remote Team Management:

      • Effectively manage and support a remote team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
      • Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and mentorship to ensure team development.
    3. Client Relations:

      • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing guidance on tax matters, and ensuring exceptional client service.
      • Collaborate with clients on tax planning and strategy.
    4. Quality Control:

      • Implement and oversee quality control procedures to maintain the accuracy and integrity of tax deliverables.
      • Conduct reviews of workpapers, tax returns, and other documentation.
    5. Remote Collaboration:

      • Leverage technology and communication tools to facilitate seamless collaboration with team members and clients in a remote work environment.
      • Ensure effective communication and coordination within the tax department and with other departments as needed.
    6. Professional Development:

      • Participate in the professional development of the tax team by organizing training sessions, sharing industry updates, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is required.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
    • Proven experience in remote team management and collaboration.
    • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
