domain experience in P&C insurance or reinsurance.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze, review, and document existing data assets across multiple source systems
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Document current processes, data flows, and system limitations
- Create data mapping documents and define transformation rules
- Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to align on reporting requirements
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across systems
- Identify and document data quality issues and inconsistencies
- Provide insights through ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and data profiling
- Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, MIS, or related field
- 10+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in P&C insurance or reinsurance domain
- Strong expertise in SQL (must-have)
- Experience with data analysis tools/languages such as Python or R
- Solid understanding of policy and claims management systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills
- Experience working with data quality, data profiling, and data governance concepts
- Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
