?Job Description

This role focuses on managing the full recruitment lifecycle for technical positions, with a strong emphasis on high-volume sourcing for software developmentroles. You will recruit, interview, check references, extend offers, and support orientation for new hires, while also handling exit interviews and processing changes in employee status. The position requires strong judgment, creativity, and the ability to operate with significant autonomy, often leading and directing the work of others to achieve hiring goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management.

  • Proactively source and attract candidates for software development roles, with a particular focus on SDE2 and SDE3 positions, using a variety of tools, channels, and techniques.

  • Handle high-volume recruiting needs by building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines and talent pools.

  • Conduct structured interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate qualifications, technical skills, and cultural fit.

  • Check references and verify candidate credentials to ensure accurate and complete hiring decisions.

  • Prepare, extend, and negotiate employment offers in collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.

  • Coordinate and support new hire orientation processes to facilitate a strong onboarding experience.

  • Conduct exit interviews and gather feedback from departing employees, documenting insights to support continuous improvement.

  • Process changes in employee status, such as transfers, promotions, and separations, in accordance with established procedures.

  • Use applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies to manage requisitions, track candidates, and maintain accurate records.

  • Collaborate closely with hiring teams to understand role requirements, define candidate profiles, and align on hiring strategies.

  • Plan and accomplish recruitment goals by leveraging extensive experience, market knowledge, and best practices.

  • Lead and direct the work of others as needed, providing guidance and support to junior recruiters or coordinators.

  • Apply a high degree of creativity and latitude in sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and problem-solving.

  • Stay familiar with current concepts, practices, and procedures in recruiting and talent acquisition, and recommend process improvements where appropriate.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in high-volume sourcing for software development roles, specifically SDE positions (such as SDE2 and SDE3).

  • Proven experience in recruiting, sourcing, and talent acquisition within a similar or related field.

  • Strong proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidates and requisitions.

  • Demonstrated ability to source and engage technical talent in competitive markets.

  • Experience conducting interviews, checking references, and managing offer processes.

  • Ability to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish recruitment goals.

  • Familiarity with a variety of recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and hiring teams.

  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and exercise creativity and latitude in day-to-day responsibilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is typically required.

  • 5-8 years of experience in recruiting or a related area is preferred.

  • Experience leading or directing the work of other recruiting team members.

  • Background in recruiting for device or technology-related roles is beneficial.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple requisitions and candidates.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and hiring demands.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional, fast-paced environment that emphasizes high-volume technical recruiting. You will use applicant tracking systems and related recruiting technologies daily to manage requisitions, track candidates, and maintain accurate documentation. The role typically reports to a manager or head of a unit or department and may involve leading or guiding other team members. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
