Our E-commerce team is at the heart of crafting the entire commerce experience that connects creators, sellers, and buyers across the globe. Our team builds the innovative technology that powers everything from live shopping and product discovery to checkout and logistics, making shopping on TikTok joyful, engaging, and effortless.
As a Technical Sourcer on our Talent Acquisition team, you will be a key player in building the teams in the E-commerce organization. You will partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to identify, engage, and attract top technical talent in a competitive market. More than just finding candidates, you will be a brand ambassador, ensuring every potential hire has a high-quality and welcoming experience from the very first contact.
Responsibilities:
Partner with hiring managers and recruiters across both English and Mandarin-speaking regions to deeply understand technical requirements, define candidate profiles, and calibrate on talent needs to ensure sourcing efforts are targeted and effective.
Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to build a robust pipeline of top-tier technical talent for critical roles.
Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other niche technical communities.
Continuously refine and improve our sourcing processes and tools to boost efficiency, candidate quality, and the overall effectiveness of our hiring funnel.
Support and lead various talent acquisition projects, including organizing virtual hiring events, building market intelligence reports, and developing diversity-focused sourcing initiatives.Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of sourcing experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (in-house or agency).
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to craft compelling outreach that generates high response rates from a technical audience.
Experience with sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media, or technical forums.
Outstanding organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and sourcing pipelines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience hiring for Product Management, Design, Strategy, or Data Science.
A data-driven mindset, with experience using metrics to inform sourcing strategy and measure success.
Proficiency in Mandarin is highly beneficial for seamless communication and cross-cultural collaboration with global stakeholders in Chinese-speaking regions.
