Temporary Marketing Coordinator

Composed of veterans from the tabletop miniatures games industry, Atomic Mass Games is committed to delivering immersive lifestyle hobby games that combine industry-leading tabletop miniatures and fast, fun, kinetic game rules to create lifelong collectors and players.

Job Summary

This is a temporary role with a six-month contract and a schedule of 40 hours per week. The selected candidate will be hired through a staffing agency, with the contract held directly with the agency.

The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of marketing initiatives across the studio, with a primary focus on social media and digital engagement, as well as broader marketing support activities. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for helping implement marketing plans, creating and managing social media content, coordinating with external freelancers in regard to marketing content creation, supporting community engagement, and assisting with a variety of general marketing tasks to promote the studio's games and brand.

What will your role involve

• Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text and images) for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and marketing objectives
• Assist in maintaining a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting across social media channels
• Support broader marketing initiatives beyond social media, including campaign support, asset coordination, and content development
• Assist in identifying and coordinating with influencers and press to support marketing and promotional efforts
• Maintain and update influencer and press databases
• Support community engagement efforts by assisting moderators and promoting events and initiatives
• Provide support for Twitch streaming efforts, including channel updates, scheduling support, and moderation assistance
• Monitor and engage with the community across social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Track and compile social media performance data and assist with reporting, sentiment tracking, and post-campaign analysis
• Support website and digital content updates as needed
• Coordinate with external freelancers in the creation of marketing content as assigned
• Act as a brand advocate in all public-facing interactions
• Perform additional marketing-related tasks as assigned

• Working knowledge of major social media platforms, their audiences, and best practices for content and engagement
• Creative skills with the ability to produce engaging written and visual content
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain brand voice
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Ability to handle community interactions and challenging situations professionally
• Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Exposure to social media advertising or paid campaigns is a plus

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years of experience in social media marketing or a marketing support role
• Experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content
• Experience working within a collaborative marketing or creative team environment
