Tester-Level III

Mandatory Qualifications:

1. Level III- More than seven (7) years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Tester
2. More than seven (7) years of work experience in quality assurance, managing testing across multiple high-profile projects with complex functional domains, within a matrix organization.
3. More than five (5) years of work experience reporting and presenting to stakeholders and senior management.

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience creating reports and dashboards for test metrics using Jira or other tools.
2. Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience managing the defect lifecycle, including defect creation, monitoring, status reporting, and retesting of defect fixes.
3. At least two (2) years of work experience coordinating and liaising with performance testing teams or security testing teams.
4. Two (2) to four (4) years of work experience with Fair Hearings and Mainframe modernization related systems.
5. At least seven (7) years of work experience developing testing products, including test plans, test cases, automated test scripts, and defect reporting documentation.
6. Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium.
7. Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience with defect tracking and test planning tools such as Jira, Jira-related plug-ins, or HP Application Lifecycle Management/Quality Center.
8. Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience in Java scripting or related programming languages, in the context of developing automated test script solutions.
9. Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience supervising teams of quality analysts.
10. Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience leading and facilitating meetings, workgroups, and similar sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans, test cases, automated test scripts, and defect reporting documentation under the direction of the QA lead.
• Plan, manage, and execute testing across multiple high-profile projects.
• Manage testing activities within a matrix organization and across complex functional domains.
• Build and maintain automated test solutions using Selenium with .NET or related programming languages.
• Manage the full defect lifecycle, including defect creation, monitoring, status reporting, and retesting defect fixes.
• Use tools such as Jira and HP ALM/Quality Center for defect management and tracking.
• Create reports and dashboards to track and communicate test metrics.
• Present testing status and metrics to stakeholders and senior management.
• Coordinate and liaise with performance testing and security testing teams.
• Support the full testing lifecycle, from test planning and development through automation, defect management, and reporting.
• Attend monthly in-person meetings at the Albany office for approved 100% remote arrangements and participate in major milestone meetings as needed.
