Shift:

Sunday - Wednesday (3pm - 1:30am)

Wednesday - Saturday (3pm - 1:30am)

Sunday - Thursday (11pm - 7:30am)

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of TIG Welder is TIG the welding of aluminum and steel parts in a variety of standard and custom jobs. Each job must be run with safety, accuracy, and timeliness in the welding area.

Responsibilities:

  • Create quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols)
  • Inspect welds for accuracy
  • Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum parts
  • Change wire/welding and gas tanks as needed
  • Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner, and that all safety devices are in use
  • Perform first article inspections as well as subsequent inspections
  • Record proper and accurate entry into the time and attendance system
  • Willingness to be flexible within all areas of production within facility.
  • Other job-related duties may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position

Skills & Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience or training in TIG Welding
  • Must pass the TIG welding test
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings & job orders
  • Ability to operate measuring devices such as calipers and tape measurers
  • Basic computer navigation and data entry skills
  • Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
