Tour Guide

Responsibilities / Primary Duties:

·         Provide an exceptional Company’s experience for stakeholders and guests visiting the NA-PDC in Milan, Illinois.

·         Conduct engaging and informative guided tours, sharing information about Company’s  history, global operations, equipment, and services.

·         Speak to and engage tour groups of varying sizes, including VIP and dignitary audiences.

·         Safely operate a tour tram and other mobile equipment in a busy, active warehouse environment while maintaining awareness of surrounding operations.

·         Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, follow established safety requirements, and reinforce safe practices with tour guests.

·         Be dependable, punctual, and accountable, arriving on time and prepared to support scheduled tours, events, and other responsibilities.

·         Provide a high level of customer service and serve as a welcoming, professional representative of Company’s.

·         Support daily tour activities, including preparing and organizing personal protective equipment (PPE) for visitors.

·         Prepare exhibits and facilities for opening and closing.

·         Assist with general daily activities as needed.

·         Participate in ongoing training and development to strengthen tour knowledge, public speaking, safety, and the overall guest experience.

·         Present educational programming for students from pre-K through high school to meet state core curriculum standards.

·         Serve as a knowledgeable ambassador for local community attractions and businesses.

·         Support special events, including event coordination, setup, and teardown.

·         Maintain flexibility to work within a seven-day-a-week operation, including holidays, as needed.
