Transportation Sales Executive - Specialized Freight

Location: San Antonio, TX | Hybrid

Base Salary: $110,000–$120,000 DOE + Aggressive Commissions

Your transportation experience and shipper relationships have value. Bring them to a well-established transportation company seeking an experienced Sales Executive to develop new business and grow customer accounts.

This opportunity is suited for a proven transportation salesperson with existing customer relationships and a transferable book of business. Experience selling specialized freight is preferred.

What’s Offered

• $110,000–$120,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus aggressive commissions.

• A higher base may be considered based on the size and quality of your transferable business.

• Hybrid schedule with several office days per week in San Antonio and flexibility for customer and prospect meetings.

• Responsibility for developing and expanding your customer base.

What You’ll Do

• Generate new business through established relationships, prospecting, and industry contacts.

• Develop long-term relationships with shippers, manufacturers, and industrial customers.

• Expand existing accounts through additional lanes and transportation services.

• Prepare proposals, negotiate rates, and close business.

• Coordinate with operations to align customer expectations with service capabilities.

• Identify opportunities to grow revenue and retain customers.

What You Bring

• A successful track record selling transportation or logistics services.

• An established customer network and a transferable book of business are required.

• Experience winning, retaining, and growing shipper accounts.

• Understanding of transportation pricing, capacity, and customer service requirements.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• An entrepreneurial approach to developing business and managing accounts.

• Preferred: Experience selling flatbed, heavy haul, hot shot, oversize/overweight, or other specialized freight services.
