Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC and trauma certifications in a Trauma II center.

Details

• Emergency Room unit with 50 beds
• Trauma II designated facility, functioning as a Comprehensive Stroke Center (survey pending) and Chest Pain Center
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Uses GE Monitors and Belmont Rapid Infuser equipment
• EMR system is Meditech
• Shift schedule is 7A-7P
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Trauma experience preferred
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
