Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit, Tehachapi: The Registered Nurse delivers coordinated nursing care to patients while applying professional judgment, critical thinking, and established standards of care. The role coordinates care with other disciplines, supervises assigned nursing staff, and promotes safe, effective patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Heart Association (AHA)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or American Red CrossAdvanced Life Support (ALS); American Heart Association (AHA)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or American Red CrossPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree; acute care facility experience.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating patient progress, coordinating care delivery, promoting a safe healing environment, educating patients and families, participating in discharge planning, collaborating with healthcare providers, and appropriately delegating duties to members of the healthcare team.
