Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a night shift basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with EPIC, as well as the willingness to work during the holiday season. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute care setting.
• Utilize EPIC software effectively for patient documentation and management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare team members.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Acute care facility experience is preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Completion of the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale training is required.

Work Schedule

This position requires night shifts consisting of either 36 or 48 hours per week. The selected candidate will be able to take one holiday off, with an expectation to work during an additional holiday.
