Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with compact license in hand at submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS preferred
• Experience with triage, antepartum care, circulating for C-sections, and high-risk deliveries
• Ability to work night shift and provide flexible support based on unit needs
• Comfortable floating to Post-Partum or NICU based on skill set
• 2 professional references covering the last year of work experience
• Ability to commit to holiday coverage as required by the assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to laboring patients, including preterm labor and high-risk obstetric cases
• Support routine and high-risk deliveries as part of a fast-paced Labor & Delivery team
• Circulate for C-sections and assist with OB-GYN and postpartum-related care as needed
• Manage obstetrical triage, low-risk antepartum, and low-risk labor patients
• Administer and monitor therapies such as blood and blood products, heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Support epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, drains, and wound vac care
• Perform patient assessments, fetal monitoring, and ongoing labor support
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the clinical care team to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered care
• Document accurately in Epic and follow established clinical protocols
• Float as needed within skill set to support Post-Partum or NICU care
