Job Details

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Acute Endoscopy
• Location: Geneva, NY 14456
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500 - $2,630
• Duration: 26 weeks
• Schedule: 4x9s per week, Monday through Friday
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Shift Start Window: 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM
• Call Requirement: Full call rotation with a 1-hour response time
• Weekend/Holiday Expectation: No weekends or holidays except call
• Experience Level: At least 1 year of Endoscopy nursing experience required

Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN licensure
• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Endoscopy or procedural nursing environment
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Comfort with call rotation and rapid response expectations

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care in the Endoscopy setting
• Assess patient and family needs and develop individualized plans of care
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care
• Support patients through pre-op, circulator, and post-op Endoscopy workflows as assigned
• Administer medications and complete nursing interventions according to scope of practice
• Educate patients and families to support recovery, self-care, and discharge readiness
• Promote safety, infection prevention, and high standards of clinical practice
• Participate in call rotation and respond within the required 1-hour window
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a healing, supportive environment
