Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,986 per week in Winston Salem, NC

Job Title: RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required; 2 years preferred License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Cardiac Cath Tech: BLS, ARRT-R or RCIS Description: RN - Cath Lab position available. The facility has 885 licensed beds and is a Level 1 Trauma Designation teaching hospital. Department information includes 5 ORs with an average of 20-25 patients per day. Patient types and common diagnoses include cardiac caths, Impella, Watchman, TAVR, ECMO, clips, and pediatric cases as young as days old. The RN will be responsible for medication administration and may also scrub procedures if trained and proficient. The cardiac cath tech will scrub, circulate, and monitor during procedures but will not administer medications. Support within the department includes an assistant clinical manager (RN), physicians, respiratory therapists, and an anesthesia/CRNA team. Technology used includes EMR systems and department-specific equipment. The department culture emphasizes patient safety as the top priority.
