Job Title: Registered NurseProfession: NursingSpecialty: Cath LabDuration: 13 weeksShift: DayHours per Shift: 10Experience: Minimum 2 yearsLicense: RN LicenseCertifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSSMust-Have:- Previous Charge Experience- Ability to scrub proceduresDescription:This position requires a registered nurse specializing in the Cath Lab.The shift is a day schedule of 4-10 hour shifts.The nurse will be expected to take call 1-2 times per week and cover 1 weekend per month.Experience with STEMI centers is required.Candidates with the ability to scrub procedures will be highly considered.Skills required include ASD closures, cardiac implant closure device placement, cardiac stent placement, and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations.Experience in interventional cardiac catheterizations and percutaneous coronary interventions is essential.Monitoring with a pulmonary artery line or Swan Ganz is also necessary.Additional skills such as IABP placement/removal and Impella insertion are a plus.This role involves working with adult and geriatric patients.
