We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join an Outpatient Dialysis unit in Janesville, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments in a dedicated outpatient setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and ensure accurate documentation. This position requires strong critical thinking and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive and individualized patient care.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and state regulations.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
Develop, initiate, and execute patient plans of care, including patient and family education.
Participate actively in department or unit performance improvement initiatives.
Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units or departments to support the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
Apply critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and enhance the patient experience, escalating concerns appropriately.
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
Education verification.
Experience as a Registered Nurse in an Outpatient Dialysis setting.
