Skills required include accessing and managing ports, central line blood draws, feeding tube care and management, heparin, insulin, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, wound care/wound vac, PICC line management, PCA, telemetry monitoring, and substance withdrawal. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial support.
