  • Shift: Night Shift
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Schedule: Night-shift schedule (specific hours determined by facility)

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Experienced Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse required.
  • Required Certifications/Licensure:
    • Active Wisconsin (WI) RN License
    • Education Verification
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • PALS
    • NIHSS
    • TNCC or TNS

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, facility policies, and nursing standards.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement and shared governance initiatives.
  • Provide clinical support and guidance to other departments as needed.
  • Utilize critical thinking to promote patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Participate in peer review and ongoing professional nursing development.
